Blodgett Urban Gardens, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is committed to providing access to fresh produce, educating the community about gardening and good nutrition, and creating a safe gathering place for the most vulnerable population.
They host weekly Farmer's Markets and provide access to fresh fruits and vegetables for donations only. They also partner with local vendors to provide access to specialty items below market rate.
The Rotary Club of Innovation has partnered with “BUG” in their efforts to eradicate food insecurity, one of our Club Pillars, through their produce, programs, and initiatives. RCOI will lead a volunteer team once a month on the 4th Saturday of each month, unless otherwise scheduled. We will also be developing plans and programs to help them improve efficiency, effectively manage operations, and achieve their objectives.
