 e is off LaBranch and Winbern.  Please park second level and above and av
 oid “Reserved” parking spaces.  The garage will be the nearest parkin
 g area to the Learning Hub Science Building (LHSB-100). Guest parking is

 s facing Holman and Memorial Green.     Dr. Siddiqi will welcome us to th
 e historic neo-classical and Art Deco masterwork on the campus of Houston 
 Community College's Central College - on the National Register of historic
  Places. Dr. Muddasir Siddiqi Dr. Muddassir Siddiqi is the president of Ho
 uston Community College Central. He began at HCC February 1\, 2017\, after
  serving in the capacity of interim college president\, provost and the vi
 ce president of academics and student development at Morton College\, a co
 mprehensive community college in the suburbs of Chicago\, IL. Prior to Mor
 ton College\, Dr. Siddiqi served five years at City Colleges of Chicago as
  the Executive Director of Manufacturing and Skills Programs. Dr. Siddiqi
 ’s tenure in higher education is marked by successful workforce developm
 ent programs\, enrollment growth specifically for the minority student pop
 ulations\, innovative academic and non-academic student support services\,
  and sustainable partnerships with government agencies\, K-12\, peer insti
 tutions\, and community-based organizations.  Dr. Siddiqi has a blended w
 ork experience encompassing Fortune 500 companies to the institutions of h
 igher education. Dr. Siddiqi worked in manufacturing sector for almost 12 
 years. During his tenure\, Dr. Siddiqi assumed multiple organizational rol
 es and successfully oversaw the completion of multimillion-dollar projects
  in multiple countries around the globe. Dr. Siddiqi received his Ed.D. in
  Adult Education and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University\; 
 a Master of Business Administration from Northern Alabama University\; and
  a Master in Industrial Technology from Illinois Institute of Technology. 
 He is a graduate of Institute for Educational Management (IEM) at Harvard 
 University\, Executive Leadership Program at Cornell\, and Executive Leade
 rship Institute (ELI) at the League for Innovation in the Community Colleg
 e. In addition to his expansive career experience\, Siddiqi is a member of
  many professional associations\, including: American Council on Education
 \, Association for Institutional Research\, League of Innovation in the Co
 mmunity College\, Project Management Institute\, American Society for Qual
 ity\, National Association of Student Affairs in Higher Education\, and re
 cently served as the college representative for the Fulbright Scholar Prog
 ram. Dr. Siddiqi is serving on the board of directors at Career and Recove
 ry Resources\, Association of Talent Development (ATD) Houston Chapter\, B
 ridging the Digital Divide\, and South Main Alliance. He is also a committ
 ee member of The Hermann Park Rotary Club\, Every Student Mentoring Progra
 m\, Commission on Global Learning\, and Third Ward Community Cloth Coopera
 tive.  Dr. Siddiqi identifies himself as an educator. Over the past 15 ye
 ars\, Dr. Siddiqi has taught a variety of courses at graduate and undergra
 duate level at premium universities and presented at several national and
