Charles C. Canton is President and CEO of The Center for Pursuit. He joined our organization in 2018, bringing with him 15 years’ experience as a distinguished non-profit leader and more than four decades of success in management. Charles was previously Vice President of Operations for Goodwill Industries of Houston from 2002 through 2017, overseeing 65 stores and 48 donation locations. During his tenure, he was responsible for growing the organization into a nationally recognized system of retail operations. Charles holds both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Management and an MBA from Houston Baptist University, where he is also a former Alumni Board Chairman. Charles is committed to the growth and improvement of ways to empower the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is impressed daily with the motivation of the Board, staff, and clients at The Center. He has been married 40 years and devotes time to family, his first grandchild, and his garden.
