Harris County Commissioner, Tom Ramsey returns to Rotary, next Thursday, during a time of severe strain on Harris County Taxpayers, looming threat of devastating flooding, Harris County Jail and Court Backlog, dilapidated public infrastructure, a spike in violent crime, a storm of fiscal and political turmoil raging among the commissioners, bitter public clashes with County Judge Lina Hidalgo at odds with the other commissioners, a projected budget deficit exceeding 200 million dollars, made worse by substantial pay raises for county constables, and the never-ending saga about the future of the Astrodome.  Do we demolish or renovate at a cost approaching one billion dollars?
All issues are on the table for discussion in what promises to be a “No Holds Barred” Rotary Program with Professional Engineer and Aggie Graduate, Commissioner Tom Ramsey. Please Invite your friends to this important program.
