Jon Eliot King (1942-2020)

 

 

Jon Eliot King passed peacefully at his home yesterday, Oct 21^st, 2020 with his faithful canine companion "Tiffany" at his side.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted on Wednesday, October 28^th at 1:00 PM at Second Baptist Church located at 6400 Woodway, Houston, TX 77057. The service will be in the main Sanctuary.  For directions and more information on the location go to www.second.org/locations/woodway

The Ceremony is anticipated to be approximately one hour. Second Baptist Church adheres to current CDC guidelines which in summary include 1) masks are recommended and will be provided on site if you do not have one, 2) social distancing seating will be facilitated, and 3) high risk individuals are encouraged to stay home and view the ceremony online at www.second.org/liveevents.

Final burial arrangements are being made with the Houston VA National Cemetery in Houston, TX. More information on that will be provided at the Celebration of Life Ceremony.
